| | This 72" x 72" strong piece is framed on canvas. It commands attention with the large amount of black with the vivid red. Unfortunately the photograph does not capture the strength of the color but it is there.
This work began with a great deal of texture that has been embellished as I added more material. All sorts of collage material has been used including older paintings to sandpaper, to cutouts of images.
Because of the strength of this piece it would have to be hung in a large room with high ceilings in order for it to breathe. This piece has won a number of awards in museum shows and has been in my collection. However, due to the size I have no place for it, therefore I am releasing it. | |
