Jason is a self-taught, african american artist, born and raised on the South-Side of Chicago, Illinois. He has been painting abstract works of art for the past nine years. His work has been selected for group exhibitions throughout the Chicagoland area, including the South Shore Cultural Center, the Beverly Art Center, and the Museum of Science and Industry.

Jason has also had the priviledge of receiving the award for Best in Show at the Celebrate the Spirit of South Shore Juried Art Exhibition in Chicago, and is the recipient of the Award of Excellence from Period Gallery in Omaha, NE.

In addition he has taken part in fundraisers, such as the United Way's Sixth Annual UJIMA Benefit Auction, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Blue Note Silent Auction, the 100 Black Men Charity Fundraiser, and the Congo Square Theatre Company's Annual Juneteenth Fundraiser.

In April of 2000, Jason was the featured artist for Underground Chicago Magazine. He also recieved a Bachelor of Fine Art in Interior Design from the International Academy of Merchandising and Design, Chicago, IL
